It was my pleasure to review Joy Seat's Back Pain Relief Memory Foam Seat Cushion. I've been having problems with my sciatic nerve and it believe it is due to sitting down all day in a very uncomfortable chair. I do find it does relieve any pressure that is usually put on the spine when sitting all day. I did notice that my shoulders and neck felt achy the first day after sitting on the cushion but come to find out it was because my body was trying to adjust to sitting correctly after many years of sitting and putting pressure all over my body. Now I don't have anymore hurt in my lower back like before and the achy feeling in my shoulders and neck went away the next day. I would definitely recommend this to those with lower back pain. I think this would also be great for long road trips too.
